Step 1: Discover Your Style

Immerse yourself in the world of design by exploring high-end designer websites and curated inspiration galleries. Find themes and aesthetics that resonate with you to see how Shelterbelt38 Cabinetry can bring your vision to life.

Step 2: Request an Estimate

Complete our Cabinetry Inquiry Form for a complimentary estimate. We will come onsite to measure your space for you to make our estimate as accurate as possible. Photos will be taken to prepare a 3D Model. $350 deposit upfront for modeling with refund if you go with the overall project.

Step 3: Prepare for Your Design Consultation

Gather the following to ensure a seamless in person discussion:

• Finishes: Choose your paint colors or wood finishes. Our Cabinet Samples can assist in your decision.
• Consider Specific Requirements: Be prepared if you want custom trash or other special cabinets items.
• Appliances: Decide on your appliances and sink(s), and share detailed product specifications with us.
• Mechanical Details: For remodels, indicate any changes to appliance or sink locations. Ensure your contractor confirms these adjustments are possible.

Step 4: Design Consultation

Once your deposit is received, we'll schedule your intake call. This conversation focuses on understanding your needs and vision, laying the groundwork for your personalized design.

Step 5: Review and Approve Your Design

Your designer will present your initial design, followed by a revision meeting (via video conference) for your feedback.

Note: One revision is included in your design deposit. Additional changes, billed at our hourly rate, are non-refundable and not credited toward your purchase. Work begins after payment for extra revisions is received.

Step 6: Finalize Details and Approve Pricing

Once you’re satisfied with the design, we’ll provide final pricing, detailed drawings, and a corresponding parts list. Double-check all measurements—accuracy is essential, as our cabinetry is custom-made and non-returnable.

Next Step: Approve the quote and remit full payment to confirm your order. We’ll proceed with processing once payment is complete.

Step 7: Delivery and Installation

We’ll notify you when it’s time to schedule delivery. Each custom piece is carefully blanket-wrapped and transported directly to your location, inspected, and handed to your team for placement. We recommend having 2-3 strong individuals available to assist with unloading.

Important: Schedule an installation call with your installer and our designer to ensure a smooth installation process. This step is vital and can save both time and costs.
